Wearing uniforms has been a method of the Scouting movement from the beginning. Decades of experience show uniforms have many benefits, including equality, identification, achievement, and commitment.
Pack 806 uniforms are from the waist up: Field shirt (pictured right), rank hat, neckerchief, slide/woggle, belt. This is called the Class A uniform.
Lions wear the blue Lions t-shirt. The Blue shirt is for 1st through 4th grade, so we recommend you buy it a little large (so it fits your scout through 4th grade if possible). The Tan shirts are for Arrow of Light (5th grade) and can be worn when they cross over to Scouts BSA (so again, best to purchase it large).
Pack 806 will provide you with the unit numeral patch.
Pack t-shirt (also called the Class B uniform) is given to all new scouts upon registration.
Rank handbooks can be purchased at the Scout Shop or are available digitally on the Scouting America website. Check with your den leader to see if they recommend the handbook for your den before you purchase!
